Day 2 of our fishing trip was suppose to happen at Lake Casitas but there was a near by fire that prevented us from going there. So back to DVL we went. Got there at 6 am and like yesterday we started near the West Dam. First hour was very slow with about 2 fish caught. As the day went on and the heat kicked off we headed towards the East Dam to try our luck. Once we got there it was wide open. Seems like every cast was a fish so we decided to have a quick tournament. First to 20 wins. After 1 hour at the East Dam I was victorious with my 20 as Mike was creeping up with 19. The wind started picking up so we fished a few more coves and decided to call it a day with a total of 43 bass caught. I have to admit that this weekend I had one spectacular fishing trip. Thank you babe and Mike for such a wonderful birthday gift.
